Upcoming Rank Test and Art Fest

News

There are two special events coming up in the next couple of weeks. On April 21st, we’ll be having a rank test, starting at 1:00 pm. It’s a small test this time, so it will probably finish up before 2:30. Friends, family, and recording equipment are welcome. There will be no regular class that day.

Then on April 28th, we’ll be visiting San Miguel High School (6601 S. San Fernando Rd) for their Art Fest celebration, where we’ll be giving a demonstration of forms and partner work around 1:00 pm. Again, there will be no regular class that day.

Special Classes in December and January

News

It’s that special time of year again – time for our “do every form” class and training in the dark! Here’s the schedule for the next couple of weeks:

  • On Saturday, December 24th, there will be no class.
  • On Thursday, December 29th, we’ll have “do every form” class, starting at 6pm and continuing until we’ve done all the forms we know. Students will be able to leave before the black belts are finished (we know a lot of forms), if they choose.
  • On Saturday, December 31st, there will be no class.
  • On Tuesday, January 3rd, we’ll be training in the dark during our regular class time.
